Died on Sunday, June 16, 2019 at the age of 82 years. The daughter of the late Corliss and Catherine (Dunlop) Anderson was born on July 5, 1936 in Highland Park, IL. She married Rev. Charles M. Stuart on June 28, 1958; he survives her. Judy attended the University of Michigan and graduated with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Art History from Central Michigan University. She was a member of St. Johns Episcopal Church. Judy sang in the Saginaw Choral Society, supported the Saginaw Symphony, League of Women Voters and worked with several civil rights groups. She had a great love of music, and enjoyed reading, traveling both abroad and around the US. Judy cherished summers at Torch Lake, spending time with her family and watching University of Michigan football games. Surviving besides her husband of 60 years, Rev. Charles Stuart, are their children and their spouses: Catherine (Joseph) Fifer, Elizabeth (David Cudney) Stuart, Charles Macaulay (Erica) Stuart, Andrew (Tamie Conrady) Stuart and, seven grandchildren: Sarah, Thomas and Joseph Fifer, Madeline, Emma, William, and Parker Stuart and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, Judy was predeceased by her daughter, Anne Brierly Stuart on October 19, 2000. Funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 21, 2019 at the St. Johns Episcopal Church, 123 N. Michigan Ave. The Rt. Rev. Catherine Waynick, presiding, The Rt. Rev. Todd Ousley, preacher, The Rev. Curt Norman, assisting with burial at Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. on Thursday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and on Friday at church from 12:00 noon until the time of the funeral service.
