Judith Christina Maurer

Maurer, Judith Christina (Judie) Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at the Cartwright Center following a lengthy illness at the age of 64 years. Judie was born February 27, 1951 in Bad Axe to the late Louis and Margaret (Kelly) Maurer. She graduated from Bad Axe High School in 1969. She was employed at Michigan National Bank for 25 years and at A T & T for 17 years. She enjoyed playing cards (especially euchre), casino trips, and attending weddings. She was an avid Detroit Tigers and hockey fan and also enjoyed photography. She was a member of FOE 4413 and the Polish Falcons. She is survived by her fianc, Fred Foulds; her brothers, Dick (Jane) Maurer, Mike (Kathie) Maurer, Larry (Regina) Maurer; her sisters, Mary Ann (Chuck) Fournier, Marge Weidman, Grace (Mike) Krause and Trudi (Mike) Lang; many dear nieces and nephews; her sister-in-law, Wilma Maurer; three Godsons, Ryan Krause, Paul Fournier and Duane Maurer; Fred's brothers and sisters, Mary (Fred) Clark, Ralph (Marie) Foulds, Nancy Hoppe, June Foulds, Beatrice (Ron) Stadnika, Thomas (Irene) Foulds. She was predeceased by her three brothers, Jerry, Bill and Tom Maurer; her brother-in-law, Roger Weidman; and Fred's sister, Aggie Freeman. Funeral Liturgy will take place at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 5376 State St. Friends may call at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd., from 3:00 8:00 p.m. on Sunday and Monday where a vigil service will take place at 7:00 p.m. Monday. They may then visit at the church on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until time of funeral liturgy.
