Judy Williams

Judy Williams, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, died October 13, 2022, unexpectedly after 78 summers. She graduated from high school and married Gerald Tolles, who had two children. Judy raised three kids under the age of 5 and when the kids reached high school age, she went to college to become a Medical Assistant.

Her marriage made it 35 successful years. Upon divorce she moved up north to be closer to nature. Judy loved to golf, bowl, play horseshoes, cards, gamble, read, swim, crochet, travel and so much more. She moved back to Saginaw and then to Hemlock when she started having medical problems that haunted her until her death.

Judy was a strong-willed woman. She was a caretaker to many, loved strongly, and fought hard. She became independent and enjoyed that too.

Judy had many friends in her life. Her sister Sally was her best friend until Sally's death at 53 years of age. In her later years, she became extremely close with her brother, James (Jim) Williams: he survives her.

She is also survived by one daughter, Terri Love; grandchildren: Casey Love Rosa, her husband Jeremy, and their children Nina and Nadia; Shelby Love Brown her husband Mike and their children, Kyleigh, Michael, and Jase; Amber Schomaker, her children Brenden, Elijah, and Jonah; Heather Schomaker Sauer, her children, Spencer and Foster, Noah Schomaker, his children Talie, David, Haileigh, Jessica and Adam, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, a daughter Diana, and siblings Ryon and Sally.

It is very hard to say you no longer have a mom to call, to visit, to help with the birds. It is hard to believe this all could be real. We wish we could tell her we love her one more time, take her earrings out to wash, put a clean blanket over her. We wish we could say we are sorry for what we could have done better or helped out more. Most of all there will not be a single day she will not be missed.

This is just a small piece of who Judy Williams was.

Honoring Judy's wishes cremation has taken place. The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider their local humane society.
