Julia “Juli” Lynn Oszust of Saginaw, Michigan
Beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Friday, August 26, 2022, at Covenant HealthCare – Cooper. She was 61 years old. Julia Lynn Adams was born on February 3, 1961, in Salina, Kansas, to the late Blaine Adams and Shirley and Charles (Polsin) Gross. She was a proud 1979 graduate of Bullock Creek High School. Following graduation, Juli attended Delta College where she studied accounting. She married the love of her life, Mark Andrew Oszust, on September 1, 2001; he survives her. Juli was employed with EDS as a Data Entry Specialist, retiring after many years of loyal and dedicated service. The role of her lifetime was to be a loving wife and mother. Juli was a member of the Eagles Club Post #3677 in Sanford and an auxiliary member of American Legion Post #443 in Sanford. She enjoyed going to the casino and shooting pool. Juli also loved camping upstate at Higgins Lake, as well as shopping at flea markets and rummage sales. She will forever be remembered for her selflessness to all in need, her kind, loving and compassionate spirit, and for truly living an amazing life filled with many beautiful memories.
Surviving are her husband of 20 years, Mark Andrew Oszust of Saginaw, Michigan; daughter, Andrea (Gordon) Arold of Midland; a sister and two brothers: Terry (Daniel) Smerdon of Kawkawlin; Ron Gross of Coleman; James Gross of Merrill; step-mother, Janice Gross of Merrill. Also surviving are many special nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Blaine Adams; mother and stepfather, Shirley and Charles Gross.
A funeral service will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 2, 2022, at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road. Rev. William Hessler will officiate. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the funeral chapel on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
