Loving mother, grandmother and friend passed away Friday December 31, 2021 at Ascension St. Mary’s Hospital at the age of 75 years. Julie was born January 27, 1946 in Saginaw. The daughter of the late George and Claudine (Sovine) Falkenhagen.
She married Robert J. Near November 14, 1978 Robert predeceased her December 29, 1983.

Surviving Julie are her children: Heidi (Rick) Castillo, Amy (William) Dice, and Jeff (Amy) Terrian; stepson, Paul (Betty) Near; seven grandchildren; Drew, Travis, Lindsey, Marissa, Ashley, Misty, and Gregory; seven great-grandchildren; a special friend and cousin Sharon Federico; and several nieces and nephews; She will be sadly missed by her daily companions, Jypsy and Karma.
Julie was predeceased by a daughter Denise “Cricket” Terrian, and a brother Jerry Falkenhagen.
