Julie C. Remer

Julie Remer Hemlock, MI Passed away Monday, October 28, 2019 at Covenant Harrison at the age of 72 years. Julie was born on October 7, 1947 in Saginaw, the daughter of the late Carl and Myrtle (Flood) Trommer. She married Roderick Remer on September 17, 1982; he predeceased her on January 25, 2014. Julie was a member of St. John Episcopal Church. She retired from Covenant Healthcare. Julie volunteered her time as a bell ringer for the Salvation Army for many years. Surviving are her sister Sue (Ray) Shepherd, her brothers-in-law: David (Sharon) Remer, Robert (Janet) Remer, her sister-in-law, Donna (Dennis) Summerfield, several nieces, nephews and great nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The family would like to send out a big thank you to the staff at Bartonwoods Assisted Living. A memorial service will take place at 12:00 noon Friday, November 8, 2019 at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. The Rev. Pamela Renna will officiate. Friends may visit with the family on Friday at the funeral chapel from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider St. John Episcopal Church or the Salvation Army.
