June Ann Mason

June “June Bug”Ann Mason of Saginaw, Michigan

Beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, January 27, 2023. She was 57 years old. June Ann Mason was born on June 15, 1965, in Saginaw, Michigan, to the late Harold and Delores (Kosal) Mason. She was a proud 1983 graduate of Bridgeport High School. She met her loving companion, David Borden, bonding over their Polish heritage and both working at bakeries. They would have celebrated three wonderful years together in February. She was employed with Spatz Bakery for over 20 years; however, the role of her lifetime was to be the most amazing, incredible, and selflessly loving mother and grandmother. June later attended Delta College and was a math genius, often able to calculate totals faster than a calculator. She was a longtime member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Frankenlust Township. June enjoyed Bingo, going to the casino, and playing cards, especially Euchre. Her little piece of heaven was spending time with her family, cats, and her two dogs: Lucinda Marie and Ann Marie Gamble. She will forever be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor, her ability to always find the positive in every situation, for being a kind, sweet, and gentle spirit, and for truly living an amazing life filled with many beautiful memories and stories.

Surviving are six children: Adam Mason of Coleman; Amy (Paul) Lewis of Granite Falls, WA; Jay Mason of Saginaw; Jaime Mason of Saginaw; Britney Mason of Saginaw; Joshua Coon of Saginaw; five grandchildren: Alaysia, Jordan, MacKenzie, Paul, and Savayah; seven sisters and two brothers: Gwen, Tammy, Jo, Holly, Claire, Lorie, Craig, Misty, and Wayne; companion, David Borden. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Jim and Alann Mason; former spouse, Joe Sian; and Josh’s father, Brian Coon.

A Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on February 2, 2023, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 6100 Westside Saginaw Road, Bay City, Michigan. Vicar David Schultz will officiate. Friends are welcome to visit with the family at St. Paul Ministry Center on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place at Assumption BVM Cemetery in Bridgeport. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to her son, Joshua Coon. Please share your thoughts and memories with the family at the church or through www.casefuneralhome.com.
