Kandis Anne (Leach) Burns of Saginaw, Michigan
Beloved mother, grandmother, and sister passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 5, 2021, at her home. She was 74 years old. Kandis Anne Leach was born on April 25, 1946, in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Frank T. and Nina M. (Hickling) Leach. She was a proud 1964 graduate of Arthur Hill High School. Following graduation, Kandi enrolled in Beauty School to become a beautician. While on a blind date, she met the love of her life, William C. Burns Sr. and they were united in marriage on May 14, 1966 in Saginaw, Michigan; he preceded her in death on December 9, 2012. Kandi loved traveling with her husband William and her family; she also treasured and cherished the time spent with her children and grandchildren. She will forever be remembered for her kind and caring spirit, the love she shared with her family, and for her selflessness to anyone in need of help.
Surviving are two daughters and a son: Cindy Ann (Lawrence Edwin) Chisholm of Saginaw; William Carl (Kimberly Kay) Burns Jr. of Saginaw; Kristin Lynn Burns of Saginaw; two grandchildren: Nicholas Patrick Burns and Devyn Kaelyn Burns of Saginaw; sister, Janice (Reza) Azimi of LeLand, NC; and a brother; David (Rose) Leach of Flushing, MI.
A Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 18, 2021, at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road. Pastor Jim Williams will officate. Burial will follow at St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends are welcome to gather with the family on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. In accordance with the Michigan Department Health and Human Services ordinance, indoor capacity is limited to 25 people, masks are required, and social distancing is encouraged.
