Karen Kay Santhany

Santhany, Karen Kay Saginaw, Michigan Passed away on December 6, 2012 at HealthSource Saginaw at the age of 69 years, following a lengthy illness. Karen was born on June 27, 1943 in Caro, MI the daughter of the late Cleon and Evelyn (Robinson) Dennis. She married Eugene Santhany on August 20, 1966; he survives her. She worked for H & R Block retiring in 2004. She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Parish. Karen enjoyed playing cards, golf and camping with her family. Surviving besides her husband, Eugene are their son Kirk E. (Charmin) Santhany of Holland, MI; granddaughter Kalie Santhany, two brothers and two sisters; Bernard (Barbara) Dennis, Charles (Gail) Dennis, Charlotte (Robert) Swick, Evelyn (Deryle) Gibbs; one sister-in-law Marcia (John) Doyle, a brother-in-law Ron Santhany and several nieces and nephews. Karen was predeceased by a granddaughter, Kelsie Santhany; a sister, Florence Stein and a brother-in-law Raymond Stein. Funeral Liturgy will take place 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church 1035 N. River Road. Rev. David Parsch will officiate with burial at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family at W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Rd. Friday from 3:00 9:00 p.m. and Saturday at church from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
