Judd, Karen M. Birch Run, Michigan Karen finished her race at Covenant Medical Center on Monday, March 31, 2014. Karen was born September 11, 1959, in Saginaw, to the late Erwin H. and Mary (Baumann) Kitter. She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Jason Judd, Saginaw, and her beloved pets, Dakota and Patches. She also leaves two loving sisters, Gloria (Wally) Rohn, Hemlock, and Kathy (Dan) Mielke, Cadillac; three nieces, Lisa Rohn, Saginaw; Jennifer (Doug) Wright, Plainwell; Jamie (Gideon) Mitchell, Cadillac; three great-nieces, Adyson, Lydia and Anya; her aunts and uncles, Shirley Pinkel, Delores Kitter and Martin (Marion) Anderson, all of Alpena; Garry (Liz) Kitter, Hemlock; Gail (Jim) Vance and Kathleen Baumann, both of Saginaw; and many cousins and dear friends. Karen was a member of the Catholic Faith and attended SS Francis and Clare Catholic Church, Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Campus. She enjoyed volunteering for the Bridgeport Fire Department Auxiliary, Saginaw Pride, the Michigan Blood Bank, and also participated in many cancer walks and runs. In her early years, Karen worked for Tepe's of Saginaw, and then worked for many years for First Merit Bank (formerly Second National and Citizens Banks). Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 5, 2014, at SS Francis and Clare Parish, Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Campus, 7877 Bell Road. Rev. Fr. Thomas McNamara will officiate. Burial will be in St. Andrew Cemetery. Karen's family will receive friends at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 5700 Dixie Highway, from 4:00 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, and from 2:00 8:00 p.m. on Friday, where a parish vigil will be held Friday evening. Family and friends may then call at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.
