Karen S. Kricher

Kricher, Karen S. Hemlock, MI Passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at the age of 71 years. Karen was born October 17, 1942, in Frederic, MI to the late George and Elnora Lodge. In her early years she tended bar. She then worked for Kenney Farms and the St. Charles school district as a Bus Aide. She was a life-long VFW member. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, gardening, and going to Florida in the winter. She is survived by her husband Jerry Kricher; children, Rodney Morgan and Dee Palmer; grandchildren, Mary and Chris Ladrig, Amanda Best, Stephanie Morgan, CJ and Sherry Hansen, and Hillari and David Huckleberry; great-grandchildren, Nathan, Bryce, Jaden, Brianne, Raven, Mason, Karrigan, Chance, Starlit, Alexis, and Justine; and siblings, Charles and Pat Lodge, Phillip and Tara Lodge, Sharon Johnson, and Mary Rouse. She was predeceased by her sister Carol Bancroft. A memorial service will take place at 12:00 noon Thursday, May 1, 2014, at W.L. Case & Company 201 N. Miller Road. Fr. Richard Jozwiak will officiate the service. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. She will be buried at 4:00 p.m. at Fremont Township Cemetery.
