Karl Henry Klein

Beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed away Sunday, April 24, 2022, at the age of 88 years.
Born September 26, 1933, in Saginaw, Michigan, to Louis and Khristina Boyer Klein. He served 4 years in the U.S.N. on a destroyer during the Korean War as a signalman QM3. Karl married Marsha A. Kessler, June 29, 1957, and celebrated 64 years of marriage. Karl was employed by GM for 35 years and reached a General Foreman Position. He was a man of many talents and always had a smile!
Surviving are his wife Marsha, two sons and a daugther: Lance and Jennifer Klein, San Diego, CA., Kraig and Christine Klein, Saginaw, MI, and Marcie A Klein, St. Helen, MI,; five grandchildren: Kaleb and Trevor Klein, Saginaw, MI, Jeremy and Jordyn Sawyers, St. Helen, MI, Breghan Klein, Hawaii; one great-grandson Braedyn Sawyers, St. Helen, MI. Also surviving are a brother-in-law and sister-in-law Jacob D Kessler III and Georgia Kessler, sister-in-law Viola (Louis) Klein.
Karl was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers and, besides his parents, were his mother-in-law and father-in-law Marcella Kaczmarek and Jacob Kessler Jr.
Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 28, 2022, at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, St. Anthony of Padua Church, 3680 S. Washington Rd., Saginaw. Rev. Fr. Alberto Vargas will officiate. Military Honors will be presented under the auspices of the United States Navy and American Legion Post #22. His final resting place will be Oakwood Memorial Mausoleum. Friends may visit with the family at the church on Thursday from 10:00 am until the time of mass.
