Katheleen "Kathy" Mae Dutton, 80 of Freeland, passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at St. Mary's Hospital in Saginaw, Michigan. She was born on February 24, 1941, in Saginaw, daughter of the late Bernard and Eva (Baker) Crosson. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Eva and her brother, Bernard Crosson Jr.
In 1959, her mother told her to go out and see the world. She made it as far as Alma, when she met Wayne and fell in love. They spent the next 61 years building a beautiful life together. Kathy worked and retired from Bridgeport Intermediate School District, while raising 4 kids, a husband, and numerous pets. She was a loving mother, grandmother and devoted wife. She will be remembered most for her laughter and her love of Elvis.
She is survived by her husband, Wayne Dutton; her three sons, Anthony Dutton, Randy Dutton, Rodney (Joy) Dutton; daughter, Stacey Dutton; her grandchildren, Maxwell, Madison, Dakota, Lucas, and Gabriella; her sister, Karen (Bill) Coe; and many numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Everyone is invited to pay their respects on Friday, January 21, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the W. L. Case Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd., Saginaw, MI 48603. A private service will be held for immediate family members only on Saturday, January 22, 2022.
