Kathleen Ann Menter

Beloved wife, sister, aunt and friend passed away peacefully on January 16th, 2019 at Covenant Hospital. She was 66 years old. Kathleen was born on February 4, 1952 to Bill and Eileen Ruble. She graduated from Arthur Hill High School in 1970 and went on to earn a degree from Saginaw Business Institute. She married Daniel Menter on November 1, 1986 in Niagara Falls, New York. She was employed as a customer service representative with AT&T, retiring after 18 years of service. She enjoyed going to concerts with her husband, taking trips with her girlfriends, and spending time with family. Kathleen was adventurous and fun-loving; she had a plan for everything. She liked riding motorcycles, playing cards, and baking, especially old family recipes like her fathers famous raspberry pie. She loved being with her nieces and nephews, who will always remember the elaborate Easter egg hunts she hosted every Spring. Beloved wife of Daniel. Loving older sister to Richard (Kim) Ruble of Canton, MI and William (Cynthia) Ruble of Midland, MI. Dear sister-in-law to Frank (Dottie) Menter and Mary (Jayme) Wachowicz. Cherished aunt to Amanda Menter, Jessica Menter, Kayla Ruble, Jameson Ruble, Sean Ruble, Lori Wachowicz, Danielle Summey, and Ryan Kappler. Kathleen was a loyal and caring friend to many. She was preceded in death by her parents Bill and Eileen Ruble. A memorial service will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to a charity of their choosing.
