Kathleen Marie Davis

Davis, Kathleen Marie (Francetic) Saginaw, Michigan Beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away late Tuesday, September 16, 2014, after two years of battling complications from cancer. Age 57 years. Kathleen was born September 26, 1956, to Rudy and Florence (Guthrie) Francetic. She was a loving wife to Michael Robert Davis, whom she married on June 14, 1986. He predeceased her May 3, 2012. She was the best mom any one could ask for to her twin daughters, Sara Davis, Saginaw, and Laura and her husband Spc. Daniel Miller, of Fort Polk, Louisiana. She is also survived by her parents, Rudy and Florence Francetic, Merrill; one brother and two sisters, Douglas (Brenda) Francetic, and Marcia Stanley (Wayne Grim), all of Merrill; Jerri Francetic, Lansing; her parents-in-law, Gloria and Robert Davis, of Harrison; one sister-in-law, Toni (Norman) Harrison, Saginaw; nieces and nephews, Anthony (Kira) Francetic, and Christopher (Kristina) Francetic, Slava and Vala Harrison; grandnephews, Joey and Alex Rodriguez, Easton and Beau Francetic, and one grandniece, Bianca Francetic. Kathleen graduated from Merrill High School with the Class of 1974 and graduated from Delta College in 1980. She was employed at MidMichigan Healthcare in Midland as a PTA for over twenty years, until her illness. She was a member of Second Presbyterian Church, serving in the session and choir, and teaching Sunday School. She loved gardening, camping, baking, reading, and spending time with family. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 20, 2014, at Second Presbyterian Church, 2665 Midland Road. Rev. James Neumann will officiate with burial in Oakwood Cemetery. Her family will receive friends at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road, from 2:00 9:00 p.m. on Friday, and then at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
