Kathryn "Katee" Veronica Wahl

Passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 19^th, 2023, at the age of 38. Katee was born in Saginaw on January 31^st, 1985, to Kelly Wahl and Renee Rodgers, and was a 2004 graduate of the Mackinaw Academy. After graduating, Katee earned dual bachelor’s degrees from the University of Michigan – Flint in Sociology and Psychology before working as a Case Manager for the Hope Network. In her free time, Katee could be eclectic in her tastes. She loved reading everything from non-fiction to fantasy and listened to every genre under the sun. She also played multiple instruments. Katee enjoyed spending time outdoors, hunting and fishing with her family. She is remembered as being kind, caring, and witty, if sarcastic, but with a big heart and a laugh that will always be remembered.

Katee is survived by parents Kelly (Jaci) Wahl and Renee; sisters Sarah (Adam) Wahl, Marissa (Jacob) Farley, Melissa Grubbs and Rebecca Slaughter; brother Michael Rodgers; children Izabel, Hugo, Anabel; nephews Robert Wahl, Kai Rodgers, Nicholas Owens, Adair Wahl, Jacob Farley, Preston O’Leary, and Dillon Dingman; nieces Maizee Farley and Alexis Dingman; grandparents Lorene Finney, Veronica Kosciuszko, and Bart Wahl; aunts Damaris (Sally) Geese; and uncles Kirk (Beth) Wahl, Richard (Maria) Wahl, and Frank Brown; as well as many cousins, other family members, good friends, and her dogs Rocco & Athena.

Katee was preceded in death by grandparents Robert & Maxine Corbett, Michael Corbett, Frank Brown, and Harriett Cohee; and uncle Robert Corbett.

A funeral service for Katee will take place at 1:00pm on Tuesday, April 25^th, 2023, at W.L. Case & Company, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Saginaw, MI, with Pastoral Minister Amy Roe presiding . Visitation will take place from 12:00pm until the service, with cremation to follow.
