Katie Lynn Davis

Our beloved daughter, sister, aunt and friend passed away suddenly on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at the age of 21 years. The daughter of Douglas and Michelle (Jacob) Davis was born on January 2, 1999 in Saginaw. Katie graduated from Arthur Hill High School, the class of 2017. She worked at Jimmy Johns. She attended First Assembly of God. Katie enjoyed camping, taking care of the family dogs Athena and Appa, and especially cherished time spent with family, friends and her boyfriend, Ben Gougeon. Surviving besides her parents, Doug and Michelle are her brother Daniel (Lona Garcia) Davis, sister, Kimberly (Tae Bolton) Davis, her grandparents Donald and Janet Davis, her niece and nephew: Kenzie and Skyler Bolton, her aunts and uncles: Scott Davis, Vicki Davis, Scott Jacob, and her cousins, relatives and friends. Katie was predeceased by her grandparents Barbara (John) Klein and Randy Jacob. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 6, 2020 at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. Kurt Cullison will officiate with burial at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral chapel on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to First Assembly of God Youth Ministry, Teen Challenge or the wishes of the family.
