Keith Alan Hinderliter of Saginaw, Michigan
Beloved husband, father, papa, brother, uncle, and friend passed away at his home unexpectedly on November 20, 2021. He was 63 years old. Keith Alan Hinderliter was born on September 22, 1958, in Mt. Clemens, Michigan, to the late Christopher Joseph and Mary Catherine (Stornant) Hinderliter. He proudly enlisted in the United States Army on January 11, 1977, rising to the rank of Staff Sergeant until his honorable discharge on January 31, 1997. Keith received many awards and commendations including, Army Commendation Medal 4 awards; Army Good Conduct 6 awards; Expert Marksmanship Qualification Badge with Rifle; Expert Marksmanship Qualification with Pistol Bar; and Overseas Service Ribbon 3 Awards for serving three tours overseas, including Desert Storm. He met the love of his life, Debbie Renea Vasquez, while working with his brother installing cable. Their love story began on December 18, 2004, they dated, fell madly in love, and were united in marriage on September 20, 2016; she survives him. October 8, 2016, they celebrated with family and friends at Kimberly Oaks Golf Course under a Roaring 1920's themed wedding reception. Keith was a proud, loyal, and dedicated employee of Glastender for 14 years. Before anything, Jesus came first in every aspect of his life. Keith was an avid sports fan, cheering for the Detroit Red Wings, Green Bay Packers, and the University of Michigan. He was an excellent and avid golfer. He was a phenomenal cook and enjoyed grilling. Above all, he loved and cherished his family, especially being married to his best friend, Debbie.
Surviving are his wife and best friend, Debbie Vasquez-Hinderliter of Saginaw; six children: Christopher (Cady) Hinderliter, Malissa Hinderliter, Adam B. Gonzalez II, Alexander James David (Kelsey Sepulveda) Delgado, Gabriella De Leon, Christian (Emily Parasiliti) De Leon; and Stephanie (Mark Hubinger) Millan; 8 grandchildren with one on the way: Isavella Rose Gonzalez Millan, Marcelino Estevan Banda Gonzalez, Alexander James Delgado II, Aurora Aimes Delgado, Armani Noelle Simmons, Khloee Sofia Simmons, Londyn Eveah De Leon, Christian Lee De Leon Jr; brothers and sisters: Mark Hinderliter, Christine (Mike) Heath, Curtis (Penny) Hinderliter, David (Mary) Hinderliter, Greg (Robin) Hinderliter, and Paul (Kari) Hinderliter; special friend, Jeffrey Schemm, golf buddies, Josephine and Donald Coleman. Also surviving are many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and dear friends.
A funeral service will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, November 29, 2021, at the W. L. Case & Company, 4480 Mackinaw Road. Rev. Frank Gallardo will officiate. Military Honors and burial will follow at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan, under the auspices of the United States Army and VFW Post #822. Friends are welcome to visit with the family on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service held at 6:00 p.m. Sunday evening. Visitation will resume on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
