Kelly Marion Trinklein

Kelly Marion Trinklein (Krueger), age 56, passed away at home on Saturday, May 16, 2020 with her family at her side after her battle with cancer. Kelly enjoyed outdoor activities, such as fishing, and camping was her favorite thing to do. She also spent most of her time with her children and grandchildren. Kelly could light up any room with her goofy personality, infectious smile, and heart of gold, which is why she had many friends.


Kelly is survived by her two children, Christina (Jacob) Spaulding and Anthony Rivera; her grandkids, Ricky, Bella, Ariana, Mason, Maddox and Jaxson; her three stepdaughters and their children; her sisters: Cindy (Dan) Defrain, Sally Graves, Nancy Misak, Amy (Ed) Dore, and Toya (Alan) Heath; her stepmother, Debra Krueger, and stepfather, Charles Davis; four nephews: Brandon (Chelsea) Defrain, Jason (Kate) Defrain, Bradly Heath and Ethan Dore; five nieces: Nikki (Jeremy) Hoyt, Sally Roque, Jackie Heath, and Mackenzie and Kylie Dore; and, many great nieces and nephews. Kelly is also survived by her live-in partner, Michael McKay, whom she spent much time with doing the outdoor activities she loved the most, and her new puppy, Mr. Wilson.


Kelly is predeceased by her parents, Richard and Mary Ellen Krueger, and her husband, Dale Trinklein.


Per Kelly’s wishes, she will be cremated and laid to rest at Roselawn Cemetery next to her late husband. Due to the current state of the country with COVID-19, funeral services will not be held. The family will plan a celebration of life at a later date where friends and family may visit and enjoy stories, memories, and good food together in remembrance of the wonderful life Kelly lived.
