 Passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at his home. Age 79 years.

 The son of the late Dorothy M. (Penney) and Harold A. Dill was born, August 10, 1945, in Saginaw, Michigan. He graduated from Freeland High School, the first graduating class in 1963. He married Lucille Hahl, on October 25, 1969. His wife of 55 years survives him. He served with the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War. He engaged in farming and worked for General Motors, Saginaw Steering Gear, retiring in 2001 with 38 years of service. He enjoyed gardening, woodworking, his John Deere 3010 tractor, but most of all, spending time with his grandchildren.

 Surviving are his wife, Lucille, and three daughters, Rebecca (Jeff) Kipfmiller; Caroline Dill and Sarah Dill; three grandchildren, Brenna Dill, Riley Kipfmiller and Logan Kipfmiller; two brothers and their wives, Charles and Debra Dill; Timothy and Ruth Dill; several nieces, nephews and four special grand cats. He was predeceased by two brothers, Richard and William Dill.

 The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 26, 2024, at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. Ted McCulloch will officiate with Military burial in Dill Cemetery under the auspices of American Legion Post #439. Friends may visit with family from 3:00-7:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
