Kenneth John Konefko, age 81, of Saginaw, went to be with his Lord on August 9, 2024, with his family by his side.

Ken was born in Saginaw, MIchigan on June 5, 1943. He graduated from Arthur Hill Technical. Following high school, he served his county in the United States Navy for 4 years, serving on the USS Intrepid (CVS-11). He was united in marriage with his high school sweetheart Judy McNally on December 13, 1969. He worked for Saginaw Steering Gear, retiring after 30 years of service. He was a member of GraceValley Church (formerly First Assembly of God) for over 45 years. Ken and Judy sang in the choir for over 21 years. Ken ran lead T.V. Camera for the church and was the church photographer. His church family played a big part in Ken’s life.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Judy (McNally) Konefko and their son and daughter-in-law Jerry and Amy Konefko of Auburn, MI. Ken was a very proud father. Jerry and Amy gave him much joy.

He was preceded in death by a daughter Julie Konefko; a brother Eddie Konefko; brother-in-law Bob McNally and a special sister-in-law Sue Campbell.

Ken also leaves behind his beloved Dachshund “Miss Lilly”.

The family would like to offer a special thank you to the staff of Saginaw Senior Care and Rehab Center, for their excellent loving care.

A memorial service to celebrate Ken’s life will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at GraceValley Church, 4570 Mackinaw Rd, Saginaw, MI 48603, where friends may visit with the family from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Pastor Kurt Cullison will officiate the service. Following the service military honors will be conducted by the United States Navy and American Legion Post #439. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider a donation to the GraceValley Church Building Fund. Arrangements were entrusted to W.L.
