Passed away unexpectedly in Portland, Oregon, on March 18, 2017. He was 60 years of age.
Kenneth L. Egbert, Jr. was born in Saginaw, Michigan, to Esther (Hoyt) and the late Kenneth Egbert, Sr. on February 1, 1957. He was a member of the Arthur Hill High School Class of 1975. Kenneth was employed for over 25 years by the Greyhound Bus Lines. He greatly enjoyed his employment which enabled him to travel the West Coast area of both the United States and Canada. He was well-known to the staff of the U. S. Customs & Border Patrol, who not only recognized his devotion to the safety and care of his passengers but also his attentiveness to and assistance with border issues. Kenneth married Sally Egbert on October 24, 2008, and she survives him. At the time of his death, Kenneth was a universal organ donor. Over 50 individuals will benefit from his generosity.
In addition to his spouse and his mother, Kenneth is survived by four children, Kenneth (Elizabeth) Egbert III, Joshua Egbert, Christopher Egbert, and Emily (T.J.) Lambon; seven grandchildren; and his siblings, Mike (Laure) Egbert, Don (Susie) Egbert, Robert (Jennifer) Egbert, and Ruth (John) Frey.
