Kerry Lynn Conrad of Saginaw, Michigan
Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister-in-law, aunt, and friend passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side on Tuesday, May 10, 2022. She was 69 years old. Kerry Lynn Curran was born on October 20, 1952, in Saginaw, Michigan, to the late John and Ginny (Campbell) Curran. She was a proud 1970 graduate of Arthur Hill High School. Kerry married the love of her life, James Edward Conrad, on December 18, 1971, in Saginaw; he survives her. She worked in the business office as a customer service representative at Jacobson's in Downtown Saginaw. Kerry loved her community and proudly served on the Board of the Southwest Saginaw Neighborhood Association. The role of her life time, however, was being a wonderful, loving, and devoted wife and mother. Kerry had an indomitable spirit and was a light to all that loved her. She was a woman that enjoyed collecting moments, especially when traveling. Kerry and Jim created countless memories by taking adventures to Florida, Colorado, the Pacific Northwest, Nova Scotia, and Arizona. She especially loved visiting family in Kansas. Above all, she loved and cherished her family, especially her grandchildren, whom she treasured most of all. Kerry's gift to them was being present for as many of their school and sporting activities as possible. She left her indelible mark in this world through her kindness and generosity, the love she had for family and friends, and for truly living a remarkable life.
Surviving are her husband of 50 years, James E. Conrad of Saginaw; two children: Jennifer Ann Reuther of Kirkland, WA; Jeffrey James (Annie) Conrad of Saginaw; a special son, Anthony Lounsberry of Wayzata, MN; five grandchildren: Dylan (Amy) Swartz, Morgan (John) Wiegert, Lauren Boshaw, Zachary Conrad, and William Conrad; two great-grandchildren: Zahra and Zena; brothers- and sisters-in-law: Robert Shrank, Lora Lee (Frank) Dupuis, William (Linda) Hagerty, Rick (Dolly) Hagerty, and Michael Conrad.
Also surviving are a special aunt, Mickey Waddell, and loyal friend, Sue Glowacki, many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Gail Shrank; and sister-in-law, Cheryl Lounsberry.
