Passed away Sunday, March 23, 2025 at Covenant Harrison, at the age of 69 years.

Kirk was born on July 2, 1955 in Saginaw, the son of the late Duane and Nina (Zellers) Rupp. He graduated from Buena Vista High School, the class of 1974 and retired from the Iron Workers Local 25. On October 17, 1981 Kirk married Kathleen J. Whelton; she survives him. He loved hunting and fishing, camping, snowmobiling and watching Indy Races.

Surviving besides his wife of 43 years, Kathleen, are their son: Nick Rupp, his sisters: Kail (Russ) LaFreniere, Karen (Mark) Tubergen, sister-in-law and brother-in-law: Jane and Mark Dodge and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Besides his parents, Kirk was predeceased by his son Matt Rupp and his cat Max.

In accordance with Kirk’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held.
