Larry Franklin Hartl

Hartl, Larry Franklin Bridgeport, Michigan Passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at Covenant Healthcare, age 72 years. Larry was born in Saginaw, Michigan November 13, 1942 the son of the late Frank and Evelyn (Cartwright) Hartl. He married Beverly Poineau August 8, 1964. She predeceased him July 1, 2012. Larry worked for General Motors from 1968 until his retirement in 1994. He enjoyed working outside in his garden. He loved spending time with his family and especially grandchildren. Larry is survived by three children, Dawn (Leo, Jr.) Harvey, Larry, Jr. (Kaylin) Hartl and Al (Sonia) Hartl; two grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Rylie Hartl; three brothers, Richard (Ruth Ann) Hartl, Brian (Susan) Hartl and Morris Hartl; two sisters, Brenda Hartl and Carol (Cecil) Dubay; two sisters-in-law, Marianne Woody (Bill Snyder) and Geraldine Poineau; two brothers-in-law, James Poineau and Robert (Eva) Poineau. In addition to his wife, Larry was predeceased by a brother-in-law, Richard Poineau and his aunt and uncle: Arden Brown and Nina Brown. The funeral service will take place 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 8, 2015 at Calvary Community Church, 2895 E. Moore Rd., Bridgeport. Rev. Ted Doolittle will officiate with burial in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family at W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 5700 Dixie Highway Sunday from 2:00 9:00 p.m. and Monday at church from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service.
