Larry Meier

Passed away peacefully in the arms of the Lord, with his family at his side, on Monday, February 17, 2025. Age 72 years. 

Larry was born on August 18, 1953, son of the late Fred and Mary (Mopavich) Meier, in Saginaw. He loved his sons and family, enjoyed family gatherings and watching old western movies. Larry was very humble, had a good heart and always willing to share what he did have. 

Surviving are his sons, Timothy Meier and Jacob Meier; the mother of his sons, Julie Petrick; grandchildren, Angel, Samantha, Emma, Dylan, Sarah, Timmy and Gavin; sisters, Jeanette (Lewis) Moore, Linda Sue Shettler, Jean Marie (Jim) Haverback and Tina (Tony) Gauna; nieces and nephews, Jennifer (John) Bremer, Michael (Gina) Shettler, Alicia Reinbolt, Brent (Stephanie) Haverback, Michael (Anne) Haverback, Brad (Kendal) Haverback, Melissa (Nick) Creen, Darren Haverback (Maggie Doud) and Shane Gauna; many other relatives and friends, including his special friend, Peggy Datos. He was predeceased by his brother-in-law, Floyd J. Shettler.
