Laura Annette Thurlow Merrill, Michigan Passed away Friday, September 29, 2017. Age 41 years. The daughter of James and Sonia (Keidel) Reed was born February 23, 1976 in Saginaw, Michigan. She graduated from Breckenridge High School and was attending Ross Medical Education Center. She married Matthew James Thurlow, July 8, 2000. He survives her. Laura was a member of Merrill Wesleyan Church. She volunteered for many school activities and sports events, loved horses and the Midland 4H and Fair. Surviving besides her husband, Matt, and her parents, James and Sonia, are eight children, Tristan Reed, Katie Weber, Nathaniel Reed, Curtis, Matthew, Shane, Emily and Daniel, Thurlow; three grandchildren, Kaylee Weber, Ashlee and Lynzee Reed; her mother-in-law, Diane Thurlow; a sister and two brothers, Scott, Candy and Kevin Reed; a sister-in-law, Nicole Sweebe; several nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her father-in-law, Bernard Thurlow. The funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 4, 2017, at Merrill Wesleyan Church, 3765 N. Chapin Rd. Merrill, Michigan. Rev. Bradley Harris will officiate. Friends may call at the W. L. Case and Co.
