Lauraine M. Wallace

Wallace, Lauraine M. Saginaw, MI Passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2013, at the age of 94 years. The daughter of the late Herman and Laura Berg, she was born and spent most of her life in Saginaw. Lauraine was predeceased by her husband of 51 years, James A. Wallace and her two brothers, Harold and Russell. She was a homemaker who was determined to live independently until quite recently. In addition to being an avid sports enthusiast, she enjoyed reading and working crossword puzzles. She is survived by her daughter, Janet and her husband, John Jones of Laurens, South Carolina and three grandchildren: Mary Beth Adams, who with her husband, Scott and daughters, Sarah and Laura, live in Overton, Nevada. Matthew Jones, his wife, Amanda and their children, Savannah and Greyson, reside in Simpsonville, South Carolina. Grandson Michael Jones is a resident of St. Augustine, Florida. In her last years, after moving to Bay City, she truly appreciated the care and companionship of her nephew, Ron Berg, his wife Barbara and their extended family. Their grandchildren, Ashleigh Gerard and Chris and Ryan Anderson, became very special to her. The funeral service will take place 3:00 p.m. Monday, September 30, 2013 at W. L. Case & Company, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. Scott Adams will officiate with burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at the chapel Monday from 2:00 p.m. until time of the service.
