Lawrence L. DeBeau Jr. "Junk Man"

DeBeau, Lawrence L. Jr. "Junk Man" Saginaw, Michigan Beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle, passed away at home, Thursday, February 26, 2015, after a lengthy illness. Age 69years. He was born May 24, 1945 in Detroit, the son of the late Jean (Slayton) and Lawrence L. DeBeau Sr. He graduated from Bridgeport High School with the Class of 1963. He retired from General Motors after 27 years of service, and also owned Bargain Spot Car Lot. He loved football, basketball, race car driving, and especially playing pool. He married Debby McVay on January 21, 1994; she survives him. He also leave three sons, Lawrence L. (Kimberly) DeBeau III, Virginia Beach, VA; Troy DeBeau, Bridgeport; Anthony (Sara) DeBeau, Freeland; two step-children, Gerald Fechik, Jr., Saginaw; Derek (Amanda) Fechik I, Frankenmuth; twelve loving grandchildren; one adorable great-grandson; one sister, Dorothy Hendrinos, Troy; two sisters-in-law, Vicki McVay, Mt. Morris; Lisa (Christopher) Paten, Bridgeport; several nieces, nephews, and their families. His family will receive friends at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 5700 Dixie Highway, from 1:00 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Private committal services will take place later.
