Lawrence L. North

Lawrence L. North Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Friday, January 17, 2020, at Covenant Cooper. Age 63 years. The son of the late Ila Mae (Lutz) and William J. North was born May 6, 1956 in Saginaw, Michigan. He married Brenda S. Hauk on August 4, 1984. She survives him. He was employed by Saginaw Township Schools for 15 years, currently at White Pine Middle School. He was known by the students, staff and parents as "Crazy Larry". He was also employed at Tonys on Genesee St. and in St. Charles for many years. He was well known for his "Larry Burger". He enjoyed driving his Jeep, camping and spending time with his family. Surviving besides his wife, Brenda, are his daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Aaron Crabtree; his son, Ryan North; his mother-in-law, Betty Hauk; his brothers-in-law and their wives, Randy and Patricia Hauk; Rick and Lynn Hauk; three sisters and one brother, Anita and Huey Donley; Vickie Wise; Wendy North; Joseph North; several nieces, nephews and his dog, Isabelle. He was also predeceased by his father-in-law, Robert Hauk; his sister-in-law and brothers-in-law Sandra (Hauk) and Gerald Babcock; Richard Wise and two dogs, Abby and Bud. The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 22, 2020, at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Rd. Rev. Robert Richards will officiate with burial in Birch Run Twp. Cemetery. Friends may visit with family at the Chapel from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday and on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
