Lawrence "Scrap" Lyter

Saginaw, Michigan On Sunday, July 24, 2016, our beloved Larry lost the war against Cancer, but won so many battles, at the age of 58 years. He was given to this world on May 13, 1958 son of the late Charlotte Sauve Scott, in Au Gres, MI. Larry married Kimberly Kaufman on September 10, 1983, she survives him. He retired from 3T's Plumbing after many years of service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing Hand and Foot and loved spending time with his "Wifey" Kimberly. Besides his wife Kimberly, he is survived by his sisters, Sue (Mike) DeBeau, Nan (Lenny) Oorbeck and Cheryl Scott; his brother, Norm (Betty) Shephard; many nieces and nephews; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Ken (Lisa) Kaufman, Brian (Kim) Kaufman and Gwen (David) Nava. Larry joins his mother-in-law, Kay Kaufman; his sister and brother-in-law, Jackie and Nelson Bond, and three nephews, Brian, Robert and Johnny in Heaven. Funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at W. L. Case and Company, 4480 Mackinaw Road. Pastor Bill Bodnar will officiate with cremation to follow. Friends may visit with the family from 12:00 Noon until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may consider the wishes of the family.
