Leon Gene Doyle

Leon Doyle, a loving family man and cherished friend, passed away on October 19, 2024, at the age of 66. He was born in Saginaw on May 5, 1958, to the late Malcom Ray Doyle and Audrey Viola (Mingus) Doyle. 

Leon was known for his generous spirit and a heart that extended kindness to all those around him. He was known for offering help to anyone in need.

Leon loved to spend time outdoors, hunting and fishing. He enjoyed venturing out, exploring new experiences, and indulging in activities such as bingo. His cooking skills brought joy to many gatherings. He also enjoyed watching Detroit Lions games. Above all, Leon loved to spend time with his family.

Leon is survived by his siblings and their spouses, Dan D. and Shirley Doyle, Terrilynn M. and David Craig, Patrick R. and Rose Doyle; three aunts, Carol Doyle, Betty Doyle, and Arlene Johnson; many nieces and nephews; and his longtime friend, James Ugartechea.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Malcolm Ray Doyle and Audrey Viola (Mingus) Doyle. 

Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at W.L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 4480 Mackinaw Rd, Saginaw, MI 48603, where the funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. Leon’s Aunt Arlene Johnson will officiate the service, with interment to follow in Pine Grove Cemetery in Bridgeport.
