Beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 7, 2020, at Covenant HealthCare – Harrison. He was 69 years old. Leonard George Stadler was born on January 27, 1951, in Saginaw, Michigan, to the late George and Georgia (Doan) Stadler. He was a 1969 graduate of Merrill High School. Following graduation, Len attended Central Michigan University where he received his Bachelor of Science in Education and later obtained his Master’s Degree plus 30 additional credits. He married the love of his life, Sharon Kay Gohsman on April 14, 1973 in Vassar; she survives him. Len was employed at Chesaning High School where he taught industrial arts and science; retiring in 2005. He enjoyed painting, woodworking and tending to his lawn. Len will forever be missed by all that loved and cared about him.
Surviving are his wife of 47 years, Sharon K. Stadler of Merrill; Kari Stadler of Charlottesville, VA; Lisa Stadler of Merrill; John (Tiffany) Stadler of Saginaw; Phillip Stadler of Saginaw; three grandchildren: Alex Stadler, Andy Stadler, and Jacob Stadler.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Leveto.
Honoring Len’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Due to the global wide pandemic, no services are scheduled at this time.
