Leonard Wayne Ehmcke

Leonard Wayne Ehmcke Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Sunday, February 9, 2014, at his home. Age 78 years. The son of the late Olive M. (Fagen) and Earl Ehmcke was born May 12, 1935 in Saginaw, Michigan. He married Patricia Ann Frazier, September 15, 1956. She survives him. Leonard was employed by General Motors, retiring in 1987 with over 30 years of service. He was a member of Saginaw First Church of the Nazarene. He enjoyed golf, music and painting. Surviving besides his wife, Patricia, are three daughters and their spouses, Nancy and Kevin Sanderson, Gallatin, TN; Donna and John Dzuba, Colorado Springs, CO; Tobi Ehmcke, Saginaw, MI; four grandchildren, Amber Sanderson; Jonathan Dzuba; Justin Dzuba; Nathaniel Schumann; two great grandchildren, Anden Dzuba; Westin Schumann; one brother, four sisters, Lloyd Ehmcke; Olive Gilliland; Millie Fyfe; Mary Sharp; Dorothy Kauffman; many nieces and nephews. A son, Leonard W. Ehmcke Jr. and two sisters, Beulah Sapp and Florence Parker, have predeceased him. The funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 14, 2014, at the First Church of the Nazarene, 3000 Davenport St. at McEwen St. Rev. John Obrecht will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. from 2:00-5:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Thursday and then on Friday from Noon until the time of the funeral service.
