LeRoy James Freeman Saginaw, MI Beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend passed away peacefully on February 28, 2018 at St. Marys of Michigan with his family by his side. LeRoy James Freeman was born on September 21, 1939 in Saginaw to the late Leslie and Katherine (Metiva) Freeman. He married the love of his life, Judith "Judy" Ann Freeman on April 15, 1961; she preceded him in death on September 8, 2007. He was employed at Quality Door and Lumber and Kmart in Saginaw. Surviving are two sons and their wives: Scott and Karen Freeman, Wilkesboro, NC; Craig and Melissa Freeman, Pinconning, MI; four grandchildren: Paul, Emily, David Cassandra; one sister Noreen Guttowsky of Saginaw, one sister-in-law Sandy Brondstetter, several nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his brother and sister-in-law, James and Cookie Freeman, a brother-in-law Terry Brondstetter and mother-in-law Bernice I. Arthur. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of St. Marys of Michigan NICU and SICU for their care and compassion. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 3, 2018 at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Rd. Rev. Douglas Bassett will officiate with burial in Owen Cemetery.
