Lila M. "Ma" Goff Saginaw, Michigan
Beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at her home, with her family at her side; at the age of 84 years.
The daughter of the late Paul E. and Lillian V. (Estep) Enos, was born on April 18, 1935 in Saginaw, Michigan. She graduated from Saginaw High School, with the Class of 1953. Lila married the love of her life, Gerald J. Goff, in Bay City, Michigan; he preceded her in death on June 29, 2017. She was a waitress for many years at the Bearinger Building in Downtown Saginaw, Michigan. Lila was a member of Sheridan Avenue United Methodist Church and State Street United Methodist Church. She enjoyed going to the casino and playing Keno at the Savoy Bar & Grill. Above all, Lila loved being a mom, grandma, and great-grandmother and cherished the time spent with her family.
Surviving are her two daughters and one son, Lori Painter, Debra David, Jerome Goff; five grandchildren, Amanda (Michael) Groom, Jeff Roberts, Ricky J. Goff Jr., Chris Goff and Breanne (Kyle) Pirlot; six great-grandchildren; Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Lila is preceded in death by two sons, William Painter Jr. and Ricky J. Goff; one step-daughter, Cindy LaPlant; one sister, Bonnie Basacchi; and one brother, Paul C. Enos.
Funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at W. L. Case and Company, 4480 Mackinaw Road, Saginaw. Pastor Monique French will officiate with burial to follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit the family from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 3, 2020 at the funeral chapel; and from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday at the funeral chapel.
