Lillian M. Wenzel

Lillian M. Wenzel St. Charles, Michigan Passed away Friday, November 15, 2013, at her home. Age 89 years. The daughter of the late Joseph and Barbara (Cillian) Benes was born February 17, 1924 in Chicago, Illinois. She married John Goschka, who passed away in 1960. Later she married Warren Wenzel who also predeceased her. She retired from the Merrill Post Office in 1987. She was a member of St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, Marion Springs. She enjoyed her flowers and taking care of her yard. Surviving are two daughters, two sons and their spouses, Lillian Novak; Jerry and Diane Goschka; John and Holly Goschka; Carol Groh; eleven grandchildren; twenty-seven great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; a brother and his wife, Joseph and Joyce Benes; many nieces and nephews. A great granddaughter, a son-in-law, John (Jack) Novak, a brother and sister, George Benes and Barbara Hall have predeceased her. The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 19, 2013, at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, 12140 S. Merrill Rd. Marion Springs. Friends may call at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel in Merrill from 2:00-8:00 p.m. Monday and then at the Church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
