Lillian Marie Horb

Lillian Marie Horb Saginaw, Michigan Went to be with the Lord, Friday, October 25, 2019, at Edgewood Assisted Living. Age 94 years. The last of eleven children of the late Walter and Viola (Wagoner) Kuhlman was born September 20, 1925 in Saginaw, Michigan. She married Thomas Harold Horb, Jr. on May 28, 1944. He passed away, February 28, 1990. During WWII, Lillian worked for the Gun Plant. She also worked at the Dress shop and on the family farm. Lillian loved cooking from scratch, sewing, singing, babies and animals. She enjoyed traveling with her family. Lillian most especially cherished time spent with her family. Surviving are three daughters, one son and their spouses, Cheryl and Bud Bishop, Carrollton, MI; Janet and Bucky Reis, Saginaw, MI; Brenda and Charles Warner, Shields, MI; Tom Horb III, Saginaw, MI; ten grandchildren, April Morse, Ryan and David Phelps, Christopher and Laura Horb, Melissa (Joe) Ketzel, Sean and Jason Horb, Emilee and Courtney Warner; three great grandchildren, Alyssa and Blake Morse, Makayla Ketzel; two daughters-in-law Sally Riselay and Sue Horb, and many nieces and nephews. Lillian was predeceased by two sons, Kirt and Denny Horb, five sisters and five brothers, Dorothy Rumbles, Gladys Austin, Marcella Rakowski, Pauline Sanders, Ruth Babechenko, Art, Harvey, Robert and Wilfred Kuhlman and Cecil Wagoner. The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 4, 2019 at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Rd. Rev. Bill Bodnar will officiate with burial in Chapel Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday, November 4, 2019, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider Alzheimers Association, Greater-Michigan Chapter, Humane Society of Saginaw County, or the charity of their choice. Mrs. Horbs family wish to extend a special thank you to the staff and caregivers at Edgewood assisted Living and Americans Hospice Care, Meals on Wheels, A&D Waiver and her home health aides.
