Linda A. Brandt

Brandt, Linda A. Freeland, Michigan Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 16, 2016, at the age of 59 years. Linda Ann Carter was born April 8, 1957 in Saginaw, the daughter of Annabelle (Pyle) and Ben Carter. She graduated from Saginaw High School with the Class of 1975. She married Jerry A. Brandt on September 16, 1976, and they celebrated 40 years of marriage this past month. Linda owned and operated Absolute Best Childcare for over 20 years. She enjoyed camping and fishing and spending time with family and friends. Surviving are her husband and best friend, Jerry A. Brandt; two sons, one daughter and their spouses, Jason and Meredith Brandt, Freeland; Justin and Michell Brandt, Saginaw; Jessica and Geof Perrot, Farmington; six grandchildren, Allison, Cole, Isabella, Anabella, Abigail and Elizabeth; her parents, Annabelle and Ben Carter; two sisters, four brothers and their spouses, Adele and Arnold Branch, Ray Carter, Dale and Rita Carter, Lee and Sherry Carter, Neal and Dawn Carter, and Janet Gulliford; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by a brother, Benjamin Carter. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 20, 2016, at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road, where her family will receive friends from 2:00 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, and then on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
