Linda Ann Al-Omair of Saginaw, Michigan Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend passed away peacefully, with her loving family by her side, on Saturday, November 25, 2023. She was 67 years old. Linda Ann Teselsky was born on August 12, 1956, in Saginaw, Michigan, to the late Alex and Mary Ann (Evoy) Teselsky.
She was a proud 1974 graduate of Arthur Hill High School. Following graduation, Linda proudly served her country by enlisting in the United States Army, where she served in South Korea as a medic during the Vietnam War. Upon her honorable discharge, Linda attended Delta College completing her Associate's Degree and meeting the love of her life, Abdulaziz Al-Omair. They were united in marriage in April of 1977; he survives her. Together, Abdulaziz and Linda both attended Central Michigan University where she graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in English.
The role of her lifetime, and one she treasured and cherished, was to be a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a believer of the Islamic faith. Linda was an avid reader, enjoyed cooking for other people, and enjoyed performing home improvements. She held a special place in her heart for all children and always looked for new fun ways to entertain them. Family was her entire world. She was forever grateful for the many backyard gatherings she was able to share with those she loved. Linda will forever be remembered as someone who enjoyed making other people happy, for her selflessness to her family and friends, and for truly living an amazing life with many beautiful memories and stories.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Abdulaziz Al-Omair, and her three children: Abdulla Al-Omair and his wife Aliyah, Sarah Al-Omair, and Hannah Al-Omair and her spouse Rakan; two grandchildren: Laith and Qais Al-Omair; five siblings: Mary Christine Church and her spouse Jim, Alex Teselsky and his spouse Becky, Tamara Toskey, John Jude Teselsky, Marilyn Mangutz and her spouse Mike. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
A Funeral Service, the Janazah Prayer, will take place at 2:00 p.m. at the Islamic Center of Saginaw, 4330 N. Center Road, Saginaw, Michigan, 48604. Imam Musab Abdalla will officiate. Burial and Military Honors will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery under the auspice of the American Legion Post 22. Arrangements were entrusted to W.L.
