Linda Clark St. Charles, Michigan
Our loving wife, mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully, on Thursday, March 16, 2023, with her family by her side. Age 74 years. Linda was born on October 29, 1948, daughter of the late John and Marvel (Gross) Garno, in Saginaw. She married the love of her life, Lawrence "Larry" Clark on December 8, 1979. He survives her. Even though Linda had been employed by K-Mart, for many years, getting married and having a family was the most treasured achievement of her life. Linda loved playing cards with her family and friends, which sometimes lasted into the wee hours of the next day. She enjoyed BINGO, casino and shopping trips. She enjoyed baking her mother's recipes, just as she did. The coffee pot was always on for visitors who stopped by. She was very proud of her family and their accomplishments. She was amazed in many ways by her grandsons. Whether it was their academics, Dakota's ability to play any instrument by ear, or Max's ability to entertain the family with his quick wit.
Linda will be missed by her husband, Lawrence "Larry" Clark; sons, Mitchell "Mitch" (Kelly) Clark and Adam "A.J." Clark; grandsons, Dakota and Maxwell "Max" Clark; brothers, Gary (Lorain) Garno and John "Wes" (Chris) Garno; sister-in-law, Marie Garno; brother-in-law, Roland "Ron" Lemmer; also, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, who she loved dearly.
She was predeceased by her two brothers, sister and sister-in-law, Richard (Norma) Garno, Mary Jane (Garno) Lemmer and Ronald "Root" Garno.
A Memorial Service will take place at 3:00 p.m., on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at W. L. Case and Company, 125 E. Saginaw Street, Merrill. Rev. Richard Gossett will officiate. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday at the chapel from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may consider the wishes of the family.
