Linda Marie Greenwood

Linda Marie Greenwood, age 44, of Saginaw, Michigan, passed away on January 13, 2025. Linda was born on October 25, 1980, in Bay City, Michigan. She was a source of joy and love to all who knew her.

Linda attended Swan Valley High School, where she made many friendships. She had a knack for makeup and hair styling, a talent that reflected her vibrant personality and her desire to bring out beauty in others. She had a love for arts and crafts and adult coloring books, as well as her delightful pastime of doing word searches, which she enjoyed immensely.

Linda is survived by her three cherished children, Britanie (Ryan Wood) Greenwood, Jazmine Greenwood, and Derek Greenwood, each of whom was a central part of her life. She leaves behind a loving family, including her father, James E. Van Haaren (Patricia), and her mother, Vickie Thomas. Linda was also a devoted sister to James Edward (Kim) Van Haaren III, John Van Haaren, Marty (Janae) Van Haaren, Tessa (James) Loachridge, Brooke Van Haaren, and Megan Van Haaren. She found great joy in being an aunt to many nieces and nephews, with whom she shared countless memories and experiences.

Linda was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jim and Marlene Thomas & Jim and Grace Van Haaren.

While the loss of Linda leaves a profound void in the hearts of her family and friends, she will continue to inspire those who loved her. She will be remembered for her warmth, creativity, and the love she so generously shared with everyone she encountered.
