Lionel Charles Castagnier

Passed away on October 29, 2024, at the age of 96 years. Pete was born on July 27, 1928, in Sarnia, Ontario to the late Ivan and Rose (Dextra) Castagnier. The family relocated to Saginaw in the 40s, where Pete graduated from Saginaw High School. Pete proudly served in the United States Army during WWII, becoming a three war vet. He worked as a car salesman for McDonald Pontiac and Cadillac.

Pete is survived by two children: Lori Romanowski of California and Lance Castagnier of Freeland; five grandchildren, and a great-grandchild on the way.

He was predeceased by a son, Layne Castagnier, as well as his brothers and a sister.

Honoring Pete's wishes cremation has taken place. No services will be held.
