Lloyd H. Pahl

Passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at Wellspring. Age 88 years.
The son of the late Herman and Viola (Schultz) Pahl was born January 17, 1934 in Hemlock, Michigan. He married Marilyn J. Schomaker, October 24, 1959. His wife of 62 years survives him. Lloyd was employed by Dow Chemical Corporation, retiring with 35 years. After retiring from Dow, he worked for Wohlfeil Hardware for over 15 years. He was a member of St. Peters Lutheran Church, Hemlock. He served on the Board of Directors of Camp Lulaylea. He was a avid deer and small game hunter and enjoyed fishing and bowling. He was an avid Detroit Tigers baseball fan.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Jeanie Pahl; a sister, Jane Doehring; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. A son, Kerry Pahl, and two brothers Rolly and Dan Pahl, a brother-in-law, Dean Doehring and a sister-in-law, Nancy Pahl have predeceased him.
The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 28, 2022, at St. Peters Lutheran Church, 2461 N. Raucholz Rd. Hemlock. Rev. Richard E. Mundt will officiate with Military burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens under the auspices of the Hemlock-Merrill V.F.W. Post 7302. Friends may visit with family at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Rd. from 3:00-7:00 p.m. Sunday and on Monday at the Church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
