Loving Mother, Grandmother, Great-grandmother, Great-great-grandmother passed away on January 1st, 2023, in Essexville, Michigan, at the age of 84.  Born on February 19th, 1938, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Frank & Katherine (Lovell) Kittle, and was a 1956 graduate of Imlay City High School. While in school, she met George Brown at the roller-skating rink and the two would marry on March 30th, 1957. He preceded her in death on November 12th, 1998. Lois spent her years as a housewife, lovingly raising three children and helping to nurture generations to come. She had an adventurous spirit, spending her free time kayaking, cycling, hiking, camping, and backpacking. Lois loved to travel and was always quick with a story of her journeys throughout the world. She split her time between Au Gres and her home in Chapala, Mexico, but spent countless time exploring the globe. Lois is remembered as an easy-going and carefree woman who always had a story to share or joke to tell.

Lois is survived by children Wendell (Linda) Brown, Mark (Cynthia) Brown, and Scott Brown; as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, and friends

Lois was preceded in death by her husband of over 40 years, George Brown; and brother Reese Kittle.
