Passed away Friday, December 10, 2021, at St. Francis Home. Age 84 years.
The daughter of the late Pauline (Scott) and Charles W. Shull was born October 26, 1937 in Detroit, Michigan. She earned her Master’s in Education degree from Central Michigan University. She was employed as an Administrator of Services at Saginaw Valley Rehabilitation Center, retiring with 27 years of service. Lorena was active with her church and a community volunteer, including READ and the YMCA.
Surviving are a son and a daughter and son-in-law, Erik Johnson; Kim and Doug Byron;
Two grandchildren, Jared Obendorfer and his wife Bridget; Emily Byron; her great grandchildren, Hailey, Maya, Cara, Charlie, Asher, Theoden and Atticus; many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. She was also predeceased by a sister Harriet.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 18, 2021, at the W. L Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Rd. Rev. James Neumann will officiate. Friends may visit with family from 11:00 a.m. Saturday until the of the memorial service.
