Lorene A. Van Fleet

Lorene A. Van Fleet (Houts) Saginaw, Michigan Formerly of Three Rivers, Michigan Passed away Friday, April 18, 2014, at Bickford Cottage. Age 93 years. The daughter of the late William Sweet and Wilma (Rumsey) and Harold Berry was born October 29, 1920 in Marcellus, Michigan. She married Sherman Houts, December 20, 1940. He passed away February 12, 1969. She later married Lovell Van Fleet. He passed away 20 years ago. She had attended Community Baptist Church, loved music, played the piano and sang. Surviving are two daughters and their husband, Marion Houts and Alan Kundinger, Fenton, MI; Susan and Gerald Dalek, Gladwin, MI; twelve grandchildren and their spouses, Robert S. and Sandi May; Kevin and Sara May; Amy May; Tricia and Craig Gotham; Philip and Cindy Kundinger; Gregory and Lena Armstrong; Darin and Jennifer Armstrong; Eric Dalek; Tomejo and Wally Gersitz; William and Carol Houts; Ronya Houts; Tobin Houts; twenty-four great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren. A son, Thomas William Houts, and a brother, Ernest Berry, have predeceased her. Cremation has taken place. A private family memorial service will be held later in Three Rivers, Michigan.
