Fish, Lorraine I. Birch Run, Michigan Passed away Friday evening, March 2, 2018, at Covenant - Cooper, at the age of 87 years. Lorraine Isabelle Swanson was born October 28, 1930, the daughter of the late Archie and Ida (Rosebrook) Swanson. She married Jerry L. Fish, Sr., on September 13, 1952; he predeceased her March 1, 2008. She had worked at Buds Market for many years. She was a member of Sheridan Road Baptist Church. She enjoyed camping and fishing, and was an avid Detroit Tigers Baseball fan. Surviving are five children: Diane (J.J.) Mraz, Jerry (Mary) Fish, Jr., Pauline (Bobby Jr.) Williams, Paulette Ghazanfari, Eileen (Chris) Bosley; 15 grandchildren and their spouses: Billie Jo (Brett) Lynch, Jerry (Lisa) Hall, David (Trisha) Kelsey, Jon (Kim) Kelsey, Sara (Josh) Golden, Jerry Fish III, Ryan Fish, Kevin Sanford, Rey (Ashley) Cruz, Jeremy Cruz, Chase (Ashley) Williams, Sarah (Jon) Mannion, Melissa Nichols, Pete (Lysa) Asmar, and Christopher Bosley; 25 great-grandchildren, including a special great-granddaughter, Lorraine "Rainbell" Strobel, who lived with her; 7 great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Doris (Virgil) Hatfield; two brothers: Tom (Theresa) Swanson and Archie (Ruth) Swanson Jr.; several nieces, nephews and their families. She was predeceased by a daughter, Sharon Kelsey; two grandsons, Bobby Hall and Kevin Ghazanfari; and by two sisters and one brother. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 6, 2018, at Sheridan Road Baptist Church, 6911 Sheridan Road. Pastor Lou Jurva will officiate with burial in Pinegrove Cemetery, Bridgeport. Friends may call at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 5700 Dixie Highway, from 2:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Monday and then at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
