Lorraine Louise Seegmiller

Lorraine Louise Seegmiller Birch Run, Michigan Passed away Friday, December 7, 2018 at her home. Age 89 years. Lorena Salvi was born December 14, 1928 in Montague, Texas, to the late Pearl (Giuliani) and Dezedero Salvi. She married Carl Henry Seegmiller, May 28, 1949. They had made their home in Fosters, Michigan. Carl passed away May 3, 2007. Lorraine was a devout Catholic, a member of Assumption Blessed Virgin Mary Parish and then St. Francis de Sales Parish. She served as Bookkeeper for Seegmillers Marathon on Gratiot Rd. in Saginaw. She enjoyed camping, bingo, going to the Casino, dinners out at Big Boy where she was known as the "Coffee Queen", but most of all enjoyed her family. Surviving are five children and their spouses, Konni and John DiPiero; Gail and Phillip Skinner; Jean Tablish and Chad; Ricky Seegmiller; Mark and Gretchen Seegmiller; nineteen grandchildren, Aric, Christopher, Melissa, Michael, Timothy, Joey, Kyle, Kirk, Jack, Holly, Brandy, Tina, Steve, Craig, Stefanie, Robert, Krystal, Mark and Dan; thirty-five great grandchildren; a sister, Deanna Kujawa; a sister-in-law, Doris Traub; several nieces and nephews. Two brothers, Joseph and Lawrence Salvi and two sisters, Frances Danelli and Norma Estacio, have predeceased her. Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 p.m. Monday, December 10, 2018, at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 5700 Dixie Hwy where a Parish vigil service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Private family committal services will be held in Cook Cemetery.
