Passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2020 at Covenant Healthcare, at the age of 88 years. Louise was born on July 23, 1931 to the late Arthur and Louise (Robinson) Morey in Saginaw. She married Robert J. Obuchowski on May 18, 1949, the two shared 38 years together before he passed away on October 10, 1987.

Louise was a homemaker, taking care of her seven children. She loved to cook and was famous for her apple pie. Louise enjoyed the outdoors and doing yard work, but most of all she cherished her time with her family.

She is survived by her children, Linda LaPan, Robert Obuchowski Jr., Jean Armstrong, Cheryl (Gary) Geese, and Janet Obuchowski. Also surviving her are her grandchildren, Jeff, Danny, Kenny, Katrina, Tammy, Andrew, Ashley, Brian, Josh, Jessica, John, Justin, Jaime, her 20 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and her brother Malcom Morey.

Louise was preceded in death by two daughters, Diane Rhodes and Judy Tucker, her grandson James Obuchowski and her three sons- in- law, Kendall LaPan, Don Armstrong, and Ken Rhodes. She was also predeceased by her siblings Emma, Flora, Bill, Johnny, Charlie, Wallace and Louise.

A private family service has taken place. Burial has taken place at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the Alzheimer’s Association or the American Cancer Society.
